Vancouver Island has a climate in which many heathers do very well. Along with the well established cultivars, there are lots of newer introductions offering ever more opportunities for gardeners. Both flower colour and foliage colour can be used to advantage. With this in mind, gardeners soon come to appreciate that heathers are unmatched in their ability to provide delightful garden colour every month of the year.
